Dr. Manuel Abreu is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 15 years of experience. He graduated from the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences in Havana, Cuba before completing his internal medicine residency at Seton Hall University.
Dr. Abreu has practiced in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, telemedicine, volunteer medical services, and leading major hospitals. He pursued special training in dermatologic procedures, cardiopulmonary health, and integrative medicine.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Abreu is passionate about writing and educating others on evidence-based approaches to weight management, nutrition, fitness, and healthy aging. He seeks to empower people to take charge of their health through practical lifestyle changes.
When he’s not working, you can find Dr. Abreu staying active by cycling, weight training, and swimming. He also enjoys trying new foods, languages, and traveling with his family.

His medical experience spans settings including primary care, critical care, rehabilitation, and dermatological procedures.
